Is Male Enhancement is is dangerouse in any way?
Hi,
Im a 15 almost sixteen year old male and I’m very concerned but interested in trying male enhancement. Reason being is im very very shy around girls mainly because my friend whos extreemely good with girls has been asked on the phone before by a girl friend how (big) is he. I heard him say 7 1/2. I’m only 5″ and were around the same age??
I’m not planning on having sex anytime soon but i think it would drastically bring up my confidence level. (and possibly getting a girl friend NEVER HAD ONE)
Please people who have either experience with taking them.
Also do they have to be doctor subscribed??
It’s a natural fear we guys have about being adequate- even if we aren’t measuring ourselves for ladies. There are lies on both sides, saying size doesn’t matter or that it’s supremely important. No, size doesn’t matter much toward sexually pleasing a woman, though women (& men) can be cruel & seize upon any insecurity. However, size does matter simply in how fast a woman might get aroused when she sees your penis (assuming the sight of it arouses her). Other than the few size queens out there, it probably won’t be a problem for you.
Your friend could have been lying/joking about his size. Many men self-report larger than they are- even on penis size surveys. When measured properly, the average size turns out to be 5 or so inches long. Could it be that your friend is simply more confident toward girls (regardless of his actual size), which makes them more apt to like him?
Regarding your question about sexual enhancement, some methods can be dangerous &/or ineffective.
Stretching the penis using weights can cause you to lose girth (width) even if you gain some length. It will probably also make erections less strong & contribute to erectile dysfunction.
Penis pumps can be useful for obtaining erections but can be dangerous for enlarging the penis beyond its normal size. They can cause swelling & disfiguration initially, which goes down after a day or so but may have some lasting negative changes on the appearance of one’s penis. Also, pumping can cause the tissue to impinge upon the urethra, causing urinary problems. Overpumping (pumping too frequently or with too much pressure) can also cause damage to tissue & difficulty getting erect.
Drugs/supplements like Enzyte stimulate blood flow but don’t put pressure on the penis to enlarge beyond normal size. Additionally, some sexual health aids like Yohimbine (sometimes advertised for male enhancement) have been found potentially dangerous due to the way they increase blood pressure & cause other adverse effects.
Surgery can make one’s penis appear longer because it makes more of the dorsal part of the penis visible, but it can likewise interfere with erections. At best, most men claim 0-1 in increase in size after surgery. No doc will do that for you at your age.
The only drug that could/would cause penile growth is dihydrotestosterone (DHT), & is only used in those who have testosterone deficiency &/or genital growth delay (where penis size is less than 3 in erect during/after puberty). DHT requires a doctor’s prescription & is very difficult to get unless “need” exists (DHT is listed as a schedule 3 controlled substance).
Lots of average sized guys do quite well with ladies. Maybe you could take mental notes of how your friend approaches girls to see what he does that stokes the flames of attraction in them.
